Melbourne's own Angus & Celeste have created these beautiful ¢‚¬ËœWhite-Water¢‚¬„¢ Bead glaze hanging planters that resembles tiny droplets of water beading onto this crisp high-fired clay body.

These unique planters are crafted using a 'reticulated glaze', otherwise known as crawling glaze, cleverly created by adding large percentages of magnesium carbonate to the glaze mix. The textured surface has an incredibly tactile quality,which feels great to touch,‚ and the subtle colouring is sure to complement the natural foliage in just about any plant!

For these animals, Animalia collaborated with Taungurung man, Mick Harding.  Working under the name Ngarga Warendj (Dancing Wombat), Mick's work references the legends of the Kulin Nation. The Platypus reference Budja, known as a busy burrower and forager. The Long Necked Turtle is Barebin Buk, spirit animal for many groups in South Eastern Australia. The Goanna represents Dhulin, one of the important figures in the creation myth of Bundjil. "Dhulin the Goanna is one of the six special men who helped Bundjil the Wedge Tailed Eagle - our Creator - when he created the Earth.  Bundjil taught all the special men how to look after his creations - the mountains and the rivers, man, woman and all the animals. He taught them how to make weapons, how to fight with them, and how to behave with one another. After Bundjil had finished, Bellum Bellum the Musk Crow blew Dhulin and the other special men to the stars." - Mick Harding
