Otto & Spike is made in Melbourne at a family-run knitting mill, which has been operating in Brunswick for more than 40 years.
They use Australian and New Zealand grown wool, and make use of remnant yarns to reduce waste, whenever possible, Otto & Spike utilise a variety of knitting machines, both vintage and contemporary, in creating their wares, ensuring products that are both unique and of the highest quality.
In 2010 the “Dab" was invented, the simple art of bowing your head into the crook of your elbow whilst extending the other arm out. This move is said to represent confidence, accomplishment and pride. Many claim to be the inventors of this dance move phenomenon, a move that has swept across the world like a a Mexican Wave. A move that has been famously used by the likes of; Hillary Clinton, Emmanuel Macron, Betty White and even Wilma Flintsone!
