Djeco was founded by Véronique Michel-Dalè in France in 1954. Her dream was to create educational toys and games that also looked beautiful and were fun to play with. In the 1980's Veronique's son Frederic took up the reins of the business and travelled the world looking for the best and most creative toys, games and puzzles he could bring back to France. Soon enough he began dreaming of toys that did not exist and started designing his own range of fun, creative and innovative products, which he now shares with the world.
Djeco (the name is a reference to the gecko lizard) are driven by awakening children’s sense of wonder, enriching their imagination, making them want to continue discovering.
Children fold the strips then assemble using the double sided sticky tape. The resulting object can be endlessly manipulated and transformed to make different animal faces appear.
