How do you send my purchase?

We use Australia Post’s Parcel Post service. You can choose either Express Post or Standard service, with, or without Signature on Delivery. 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free of charge for orders totalling $150.00 or more.  When using our complimentary shipping service, your purchases will be sent via Australia Post's Standard Parcel Post Service.  

For purchases under $150.00 in total, your shipping charge will be calculated according to your chosen items, your selected postal service, and your delivery destination.  Shipping is charged at Australia Post prices only - there are no additional fees for gift-wrapping, packaging or handling.

When will I receive my order?

It could be as quick as tomorrow, or up to one week!  We will ship your order same day, or on the next business day.

Once with Australia Post, shipping can take 1-5 days, depending on your chosen level of service and location. 

Remember that Australia Post often experiences delays in peak seasons, such as pre-Christmas. 

We strongly recommend you select Express Post if you require your item delivered within a specific timeframe.

What if I need my purchase ASAP?

If you need your purchase as soon as possible, we recommend you place your order prior to 10.00AM AEST to ensure same day processing, and select the Express Post option, which offers overnight delivery to major metro and regional population centres.  

Alternatively, you can select “Pick Up” at the Checkout, and collect your purchase during our opening hours.

Payment must clear before your items are dispatched.  Please remember to allow extra time for processing and delivery during peak times such as Christmas, when delays are often beyond our control. 

What if my purchase hasn’t shown up after a week?

Please use the Australia Post article number we provided to you in your Order Dispatch Confirmation email to see if you can track your item online.  If you are having difficulty, please Contact Us  and we will do our best to assist you in tracking your item.  Please remember that Blackbird & Fox will not be held liable for the loss of any item once dispatched to Australia Post.

Are all your products in-stock?

Computer says Yes! If an item is listed online as in stock, then, to the best of our knowledge, this item is in stock and available for purchase.  Very occasionally, someone might buy the last available product off the shelf in our store, while the item is still in your Shopping Cart, and our stock levels have not yet updated, or, even more occasionally, our inventory levels may be out of whack due to human error, or even *shock-horror* instore theft.  In the instance that your selected item is not available for immediate dispatch, we’ll get in touch with you ASAP (definitely within 48 hours) to advise you of an ETA, offer you a replacement, or, if you do not wish to wait or substitute your item, refund you.  

What if I can’t find what I want?

We have an extensive and continually evolving product range in-store, but not all our products are listed online.  If you’ve seen something in store, and can’t find it online, please Contact Us, describing what you’re looking for and we’ll be happy to help you out.  If the item is not currently available, we may be able to let you know if and when more is due, notify you when they arrive, or place a special order for you. 

What if an item I’ve bought and paid for is not available?

If we are unable to fulfill your order we will contact you within 48 hours and you can choose to select alternative goods to the same value, or to receive a refund in full for the unavailable item and any postage paid for that item.

How can I make payment online?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal.  If you wish to make payment via bank transfer, this can be arranged, but processing times will be longer to allow for funds to clear.  Please Contact Us if you’d like to place an order off-line, and be invoiced and make payment via bank transfer. Our online postage rates will still apply. 

Can I put items on hold or lay-by?

No, we do not offer lay-by, or an online hold service.

Do you ship internationally?

Our website only handles orders for delivery within Australia.

What currency are your prices in?

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST.
