Studio Australia - Wall Birds - Set of 3

    $179.00

Dawn Smith and Cynthia Tippler began Studio Australia in 1990 in Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, New South Wales.  All their ceramic pieces are hand slip cast earthenware clay, hand-painted and glazed and then fired in an electric kiln twice. Importantly every piece is signed by the painter and stamped with Studio Australia's familiar branding.

These sets of Australian Wall Birds harks back to the popular 20th century decor item, the Flying Ducks (or Flying Mallards). Studio Australia has revived this once popular ornament with a distinctly Australian twist, bringing them into the 21st century.

    • Set of three ceramic birds
    • Made in Australia
    • Hand-painted earthenware
    • Each bird has a hole at the back so they are easy to hang
    • Largest bird measures approximately 24cm long
